Over the past month Director, Jonny Cook has made further investment in Peninsula Care. This investment has seen Helen Woodside from our recruitment team furthering her study in the area of staff training.

¬†Jonny said “From her previous experience working as a Senior Healthcare Assistant, it made Helen the ideal candidate from our existing team to put forward for this opportunity. It is great to be able to invest not only in the future of the business but also a person’s professional development. Peninsula Care has always been about providing people opportunities that will enhance their skills and knowledge will in turn have a positive impact on their career and the quality of care in the industry”.

The Training Academy has been in full swing since the opening of our new Headquarters in Newtownards, offering our clients as well as care and nursing staff all areas of mandatory training. The addition of Helen to the Training Academy team sees the increase in availability to be able to offer study sessions in the area of Manual Handling.

For those requiring updates in their training and looking for an affordable and enjoyable option, check out our Training Academy page on our website.

Future dates of all training are added online and through our social media links, Facebook and Twitter.
