Peninsula Care see quality care delivery and valuing staff and service users as a result of the training it provides staff. We believe in sharing our experiences with others which is why our Training Academy was established. The Academy gives us our platform to offer out our bespoke training sessions to other professionals and care providers with the aim that standards of care will improve across the industry.

At Peninsula Care, it all about our team: Back in April 2009, Jonathan Cook decided he needed a new challenge within the healthcare & recruitment industry. After been working with key healthcare clients in providing temporary staff cover. He strongly felt there was a real need in the industry for an organisation like Peninsula Care. Since then he has built and grown a professional, qualified, passionate and successful team to meet the demands of the industry and ensuring our customers are our priority.
Jonny Cook
Director
Director of Peninsula Care Services and a team player in the delivery of caring services and management of the organisation as a whole. Jonathan with his care qualifications and management experience in domiciliary and healthcare recruitment agencies is the best person to ensure the service is delivered to a high standard which is expected from our valued clients.
Helen Riordan
Principle Trainer
Helen started with Peninsula as a Health Care Assistant and worked her way up to a Senior HCA role. With many years experience working in the care industry and a background with Peninsula Care in a recruitment role she now works as the Principle Trainer in our Training Academy to ensure we maintain a high calibre workforce. Helen helps to organise staff training through working with many of our employees and clients to which she has also acquired an in depth knowledge of their skills and needs for future development. Helen teaches a wide variety of courses now following the completion of her Education & Learning Qualification and enjoys setting the standards for patient care through training and assessment of workers skills.
George Black
Finance Manager
George has been working part time with Peninsula since our inception overseeing our payroll and accounts department. He uses various current software packages to ensure our team are paid on time and that clients are invoiced. He is the main port of contact for any of our valued clients to discuss details of their account. George has over 12 years experience in the industry in not only a finance position but also in various caring and management roles as well as being a trained counsellor and holding a Chartered Management Qualification.
