QCF class 2014
Every year Peninsula Care offers our employees the opportunity to undertake professional qualifications for their own professional development. We offer QCF level 2 & 3 in Health & Social Care to all of our employees at a subsidised price. 2014 seen a large number of employees gain their qualifications, and as a result some carers have gone on to secure permanent positions outside Peninsula, while others have put their qualifications to good use within Peninsula. Pictured below are just a few of our employees who qualified from the QCF class of 2014. Our QCF classes start in September and run to June. Level 2 is perfect for Care workers relatively new to the industry to give them a good knowledge of practices in the healthcare sector. The award will confirm knowledge, skills and competence for individuals working with adults and children across all social care settings, such as within residential settings, primary care environments, domiciliary services, day services and supported living.
Level 3 is for more experienced care workers and will allow those who qualify to work as a senior care assistant/team leader in a range of care settings once additional medication training is completed.
