As you may or may not already know, we at Peninsula Care love to arrange days or nights out to relax and unwind once in a while. It is a great opportunity for office staff and employees to meet up outside of a work environment. It also gives employees the opportunity to make new friends within Peninsula who they may not meet otherwise.
Our Peninsula Day Out for 2015 has been booked and the spaces are filling fast. This year we are Dublin bound! The date for the diary is Saturday 22nd August 2015.
Starting early in the morning the bus will pick us up in Newtownards. Our first port of call is the Guinness Storehouse where we will get the full tour, and sample a pint of ‘the black stuff’ right from where the magic happens. Overlooking Dublin from the top of the storehouse we¬†can plan our next move.
The bus will take us on in to the centre of Dublin where you can decide on what to do next. Some of you may want to take advantage of the great exchange rate at partake in some retail therapy, others (like myself) may decide to use that exchange rate to get a more reasonably priced pint or two around Temple Bar, and enjoy some live Irish music.
Once everyone has had enough we will board the bus and head for home. Once back in Newtownards, the party will continue at the Tudor Tavern, where there will be a barbecue and entertainment until the wee small hours.
Total price for the day is £25. Tickets are going fast, so contact the office to book your place. Money does not have to be paid up front but can be deducted from wages over a few weeks.
