Jimmy joined the team, fresh to the idea of care work and especially care in the community. He had some insight as his Partner is employed in a Support Worker role. Jimmy having been a taxi and delivery driver before thought he would try and use his talents to try a new role. His interpersonal skills make him a “perfect fit” for the caring role and also a “big hit” with the service users. Jimmy has a genuine passion for his job and shows genuine concern for each of the individuals he cares for.
Jimmy works full time in our Care at Home department and is not a fan of time off. Recently he went on holiday for over two weeks and found it difficult being away from his service users for so long, he had been texting other members of staff to make sure his service users were ok whilst he was off on leave.
Jimmy has been a great asset that we have acquired this year and I know his personality and quality of work will no doubt make him a winner in future awards
