For those looking more fixed hours we can offer block bookings to ensure you get the amount of amount of hours you need on a weekly basis.

You don’t need to worry about any of the above. We offer the flexibility that permanent jobs cannot. We find out your needs, and try our very best to get you the working hours that suit you. With morning, afternoon, evening, and night shifts available, as well as sleepovers, there is something to suit everyone.

We recommend not excluding yourself from any type of care work. Although your experience may be in one particular setting, we often find staff members who try something different get on really well and enjoy the variation in their work. If you don’t like a particular setting, at least you have tried it. You have nothing to lose.

Availability РKeep us updated of your availability as far in advance as you can. Each Monday we send a text to ask what you are available to work for the upcoming week, but we understand people with other jobs may have rotas further in advance. We often have shifts available for weeks ahead and by letting us know when you can work, you can secure this shifts well in advance.

Priority on shifts will always be given to those who have informed us of their availability before being send to other staff.

Self Book - We promote self booking to our staff. If you work with a client and get on well, and enjoy your shift, there is no problem leaving them your personal number to contact you directly if they need any additional cover. This means you get first choice of the shifts with that particular client.

Professional Development – At Peninsula, we offer staff the chance to progress in your career. We run yearly QCF Level 2 & 3 courses in Health & Social Care, which are offered at a subsidised rate. Employees can save as much as 75% on regular course fees, and this can de deducted from your weekly wage so it is paid off in small manageable payments.
