Nursing staff are the super heroes of health care. You are there when needed most, changing lives with your unique set of skills. Peninsula Care employs a dedicated team of Nursing & Care staff who are the super heroes of our Organisation and we always have room for more to join our team.
On Friday 12th of May – the anniversary of Florence nightingales birthday, we want to say thank you and pay tribute to our Nurses and those in our local community.
We will be hosting an informal get-together in our headquarters in Newtownards to celebrate international Nurses day from 2-4pm.
As our honoured guest you have the option of tea, coffee, wine and selection of nibbles. We want to use this opportunity to have a chat, share work experiences and share a laugh between health care professionals.
There is no charge for this event however we will be using the opportunity to collect donations for the RCN Foundation. The RCN foundation supports nurses, midwives and health care support workers facing hardship offering support services and financial assistance to get their lives back on track. They invest in the future of nursing by funding education and development opportunities for the nursing community.
Invites will be sent to our Nursing & Care team, community Nursing teams and other healthcare facilities whom use our service. We encourage everyone attending to bring a nursing friend.
We are hoping for a good turnout. We should probably mention the dress code: nurses uniform, past or present.
