Northern Ireland’s leading domiciliary, care and recruitment company, Peninsula Care Services, will be hosting the inaugural Peninsula Care Conference, to take place at The Marine Court Hotel, Bangor on Thursday, 12 April.
The conference, chaired by Dr Patricia McClure (pictured left), Associate Head of School of Health Sciences at The University of Ulster, is the first of its kind in Northern Ireland, further reinforcing Peninsula’s innovation and commitment to nurturing nursing excellence in Northern Ireland.
Although Peninsula has its own dedicated Training Academy in Newtownards for their 250 strong staff, MD of this multi award winning company Jonny Cook wants to share the expansive knowledge of his team of professionals and contacts and is encouraging other care home managers, nurses, deputies and care assistants from the province and further afield to attend the conference.
Doreen Bingham (pictured right), Registered Nurse Manager from Peninsula Care is excited about the forthcoming event. She says;

This event will also give people an opportunity to network with others in the sector.”
The conference will focus on two aspects of healthcare, namely Medicines Management and Dementia Care and will conclude with speeches from a motivational speaker.
The Peninsula Care Conference takes place from 10am – 4pm in The Marine Court on 12 April and tickets. Tickets, to include a buffet lunch, cost £20.
